Helping creative women build
inspirational brands
You Blank Canvas is My New Obsession

Hey there! I’m Haley.

I’m a Brooklyn-based graphic designer specializing in branding and hand-lettered typography.

When I was eight or so, I rummaged through an old steamer trunk my mother saved from college and found a book about calligraphy. What followed was approximately three years of writing everything in cursive, creating elaborate place cards and menus for casual nightly dinners, and the beginning of a Hoarders-level collection of pens. I didn’t know lettering was an art, the same way I didn’t know designing a website for my high school’s Harry Potter fan club (shout out to my Dumbledore’s Army babes) could be a career path. Back then, the idea of building a business never occurred to me, let alone building a business centered around the things I was most passionate about.

And now, my passion is helping others do just that.

My career began in marketing at a business coaching company, a place that allowed me to watch dream chasers make a difference in the world with their businesses, time and time again. (It’s one of the most inspirational things to witness–it’s the stuff goosebumps and misty eyes are made of.)

In 2015, I was eager to make more space for creativity in my life and launched Grand Print Co., a side-hustling endeavor into stationery, wedding paper, and modern calligraphy.

My love of design and my passion for working with entrepreneurs ultimately evolved into this design studio, and my side-hustle turned into a full-time business.

My mission is to help more creative businesses come to life and thrive, helping women create a ripple effect of inspiration and positive change in the world. Because of my experience in marketing, I focus on building brands that are not only visually stunning, but are strategically crafted to get results (we work on the beauty AND the brains).

When I’m not working, I’m likely attempting beyond-complicated recipes in my kitchen while shooing my cats off the counter and singing along to old scratchy records.

And if you stick around here long enough, you’ll learn that I believe a successful business lady takes care of her whole self, and that creativity flows best when we find joy in life’s everyday moments - or in other words - #gogrand.

You too? Let’s be friends.

If you're looking for the Grand Print Co. Stationery Store, I stopped printing in early 2017 so I could focus more on brand design. I take on a few stationery design projects yearly for businesses and individuals looking for just design and not physical printing.
